The National Youth Council of Malawi is a Statutory body responsible for coordinating youth work in Malawi. Established in 1996 by an Act of Parliament, the Council is a registering authority for youth organisations in Malawi, who become its affiliated upon registration. It is has three major programmatic areas namely: Youth Participation and Economic Empowerment, Youth Reproductive Health and Research, Evaluation and Documentation. It is based in Lilongwe City, Malawi.
